Your T-IA Connect access is ready
Your download access has been approved. Follow these steps to install T-IA Connect on your Windows workstation.
Start with T-IA Connect
Click the button below to download the installer for Windows.
Install with Administrator Rights
Right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator". The installer needs admin rights to add your Windows user to the Siemens TIA Openness security group.
Windows will ask for UAC elevation - this is normal and required.
Restart Your Windows Session
After installation, you must log out and log back in (or restart your computer). This is required for Windows to apply the Openness group membership.
T-IA Connect will not connect to TIA Portal until you restart your session. This is a Windows security requirement, not a bug.
Open TIA Portal & Launch T-IA Connect
Open your TIA Portal project first, then launch T-IA Connect. The software will automatically detect your running TIA Portal instance.
Prerequisites
- Siemens TIA Portal V17, V18, V19, V20 or V21 installed
- TIA Portal Openness feature enabled (Professional/Advanced edition)
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
Don't have TIA Portal? You can still explore the interface, but Openness features require TIA Portal.
