We enable developers and automation engineers to interact with TIA Portal via simple HTTP requests, making engineering task automation accessible to any modern programming language, whether Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.

The application intelligently handles the underlying complexity of Siemens processes, featuring robust thread management and a Job Queue system that secures the sequential execution of critical commands. Today, T-IA Connect is a full-featured desktop application with dozens of integrated capabilities: an AI Copilot that generates SCL and XML code directly in your projects, a native MCP server compatible with modern IDEs (Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code), automated tag export/import, Git-based version control, custom technical documentation generation (RAG), and much more.
